On average, I would say we eat out...whether in a restaurant or takeout/delivery...twice each week.  Now that I am retired, cooking is not always high on my list.  Not that it has ever been a priority or something I just love to do.  When my children were young I would do it a bit more, but I just don't want to spend a lot of time planning, getting groceries, cooking, and cleanup.  Sometime it is just a hassle to me.
