grocery stores are out of everything

we went today to get supplies for the storm and ended up going to 5 different stores before getting everything we need  so i am hopeing this does not get as bad as they say it will but we are ready if it does

I don't know where you live but I saw on the news where I think it was in Florida they told people to leave and also told them if you choose to stay you are on your own.  When it gets bad enough the police are leaving and blocking the roads behind them and anyone who chooses to stay behind is on their own.  I think that is awesome.  It is ridiculous that people who choose to be stupid expect someone else to put their life in danger to rescue them.  Kind of like with Katrina.  They knew the storm was coming.  They had ample time to leave.  They even provided transportation for people who did not have a car.

I also saw on yahoo where they were saying I think it was Drudge had said the "government is lying about the storm".  I really didn't even know what to think about that.  How can anybody think the government is lying about something we are watching happen?  I just thought that was odd.
