I use software that remembers them for the most part.  I keep a log of my passwords for when I forget or the computer doesn't remember.  I wish you were able to use the same password for everything but different sites have different requirements.
Have a wonderful day!

I keep an excel file with the website/app that are really important to me along with the passwords and security questions.  I leave on my desktop but also printed and put with insurance policies in case anything happens to me so my family can get into everything.

lol im terrible my password is the same for everything.

ihave never been hacked and or had any money stolen.

i think they scare people with the password stuff.

im the only one who uses my laptop so i just have the browswer save everything.

i know i am lazy.

it is just to much work to have  a different password for everything.

people have warned me for years but nothing has ever happened.

That is so true.  That is why I bought a little book that is for nothing but writing down the websites and the user name and password.

You have to have passwords to be safe online.

I have lots of passwords also...some are saved automatically, but some aren't...but even the saved ones I have written down in a book or index file..no one gets on my computer. but if something were to happen to me my husband knows where they are or he could get one of the daughters help him get on the sites...

Like others have suggested, I have a master password list in an Excel spreadsheet (that is ALSO password protected).  Many of my passwords are also saved in my Chrome browser, but there are times when that fails.  I keep my master file accessible through my phone so I can have my logins when I am at another computer.  Many of my passwords are a variation of each other, but I am slowly changing them to all be something unique with upper and lowercase letters, digits, and special characters. You can never be too careful with all of the security breaches out there.  I have an app on my phone which generates random passwords from 1-128 characters, so I now use that whenever I want to create a new password and I keep track in my spreadsheet file the date I last updated each password.

You could try to make them as similar as possible. You don't have to have so many different ones.

I agree. I'm supposed to have different passwords for work and home, and it gets to be too confusing. At work, they make us change our passwords every 3 months, and I can't use a previous password and it can't be the current password and it's gotta have 5,397 letters with 24 of them capitalized and the rest in Swahili, plus 9 special characters and at least 1 number....or at least that's how it feels!

I keep it simple and use some more than once. Less is more for me.
