I like onion rings or mozzarella sticks. I don't usually order them though because I can eat the entire thing and then not be hungry for dinner. Sometimes we get the frozen kind from the store and they make a nice snack.

I once had a starter at a Christmas party that I remember to this day. I think they were called croquettes! It was basically a little container of puff pastry filled with a prawn cocktail, and then there was another variety with chicken and mayonaisse which rather reminded me of cooled mini pot-pies. Both varieties were delicious. I kept eating them all evening, they were so delicious.

Mine has to be mozzarella sticks. A lot of times when I eat them, I don't feel well but I still eat them sometimes anyway. I just had some at Olive Garden and I did ok with them. I have lots of stomach problems.

Chili con queso...they serve it in Mexican food restaurants in the south...with chips. Kindof like rote dip.

Well, its a little untraditional, but at a local pizzeria in my area, they sell buffalo chicken fried ravioli. Its so delicious! They offer it with Bleu cheese, which I don't like, so instead I ask for marinara sauce and it makes it taste even more delicious!  If you like buffalo chicken  and fried ravioli, definitely see if there a place near you that offers this appetizer. You won't regret it!
