there is so much going on in the world.
it takes pages and pages to cover it all.
even newspapers and magazines can't cover all that happens.
there are small gestures of people helping each other that don't make the news.
speakers are coming forward on their own creating their own channel on tv and or radio.

Sometimes I have to take a "vacation" from the news.  It gets depressing after awhile.

Mostly   :bad:  news  anyway.  War in the middle east, crime/killings, the 2 running for president roasting each other, etc.

I agree with you. I also have to take a break from the news. Seems lately there is more bad news than good news. That's depressing !!

I understand you. I wish there was more good new than bad ones.

I am right there with you regarding taking breaks for several days from the news.  I am about "up to here" (wherever "here" is) on politics and crime, too.  Frankly, I think we need a news channel that only reports positive things.  Surely those can be found.  It would be so refreshing to sit there and listen to and watch 30 minutes of positive, lighthearted, uplifting things about people and places.  I think my view of the nation and world might even shift a bit after such exposure.

I know the worlds gone crazy since they made a musical of Bonnie and Clyde. I know the world was made when they made a movie about flipper and I liked it.
