Work. Today I'll work, and tomorrow and the day after-pretty much until I expire. Living in Colorado I have heard that you are better off with illegal marijuana as the legalized stuff is taxed through the roof. Just like Alcohol and cigarettes.  With all of these sin taxes you would think that income taxes, county taxes, city taxes, would be decreased but this isn't the case. You would think that public education would be better but I had to move my last child to a private school because the level of education was so poor. His last year, eighth grade, a teacher had the children spend two days numbering pages in their note books. The homework assignments were an absolute joke. My son had to take a pre-high school summer session to make up for the lack of education given to him in a public middle school. He caught up quick  and is running all A's. The point is that there is no apparent use of the marijuana tax to support better education which is one of the political promises that were made.

I'm posting this right before bed.  Which is unusual for me because I usually hit FC first thing in the morning so I''ll be backward about this.  Today I visited my Mom.  She just lost a dear friend.  A companion although not a lover.  She's taught be a huge lesson in grace and I'm forever grateful for this day to spend with my Mom.  We had coffee and gluten free cupcakes for breakfast.  She showed me her latest quilting projects and shared some of her deepest most inner emotions.

Today I'll have some church....making some scrumptious homemade veggie burgers for lunch.  Baking some chocolate chip cookies and a cheesecake.  Later today, a howl-a-ween party.  It will be a GREAT day!  :)

Enjoy my Sunday by hopefully watching a scary movie and maybe going to a haunted attraction. :pumpkin: And I'll vacuum a second time because the kitty made a mess!  :cat: I need to do the grocery shopping but may put it off until tomorrow.
