Pumpkin is pretty good to eat when cooked. It doesn't just go into a pie.

By the way: What is the nutritional value of pumpkins? Does anyone know?

Sure it's great for pies and bread.

I adore everything pumpkin.  Yep, I'm right there with the food and the candles, too.  I love the somewhat spicy, cinnaminy, nutmegy taste.  I love the bread, pie, and even cheesecake, which I've only had a few times but am drooling to try again! I recently saw a chili recipe using pumpkin that I am thinking of trying.  I believe it is on Pinterest.

I like sweet potato but pumpkin comes off as too bland for me.  However, I believe a good chef can make anything taste good.

I love pumpkin - have had it as pie, bread, muffins, coffee, and even ice cream!
