I do eat pumpkin, but I rarely have it without adding loads of other things which compliment it. For instance, I make pumpkin puree from the flesh and once I've done that, I fry an onion, add chopped celery, garlic and some carrott. I bring this to a boil and then let it simmer for about 20 minutes. Lastly, before eating the soup I add a little maple syrup and some whipping cream. It tastes delicious. Very warming, comforting and super healthy.

just some around the holidays (pumpkin pie, sometimes pumpkin bread).  I've seen recipes on Pinterest for pumpkin smoothie and pumpkin pancakes that I might try some day...lol  My dog and cats enjoy pumpkin (NO spices) a few times a week though, they LOVE it.

We had a Pumpkin Festival last week about an hour from us. They have so many Pumpkin foods including Pumpkin Chili and Pumpkin Donuts. YUM!

Yes I do.  Love pumpkin pie with cool whip on top.  And also baked the pumpkin seeds in butter and they make a great snack for the kiddos.
