Anyone else use Bank of America?

I used to like them, but I don’t anymore.  they had the nerve to now charge the average ordinary citizen $12-$25 every month per account if they don’t maintain a balance of $10,000.   if the average ordinary citizen had that amount, and could maintain it,  you honestly think we’d be living in crappy apartments with no ac in the middle of summer, gripe about the price of minimum-wage, protest companies like Walmart who just want to build more stores rather than pay a higher wage to the workers they already have?  No.  So why do we, the hard- working middle to *bleep*-poor minimum wagers have to pay for the bad investment deals made by  the heads of the bank company?  Everyone talks about how great it is to live in a country where now even a woman can get nominated to run for president.  Frankly, I don't care who it is.  They get my vote if they are willing to stop companies like Bank of America and credit card companies from doing this to their customers.  Stop charging hidden, stupid, worthless fees, just to get a couple more bucks out of their customers.  It's enough to make one want to switch companies, or not use one at all.

I have never liked Bank of America. Of course they really do not have branches near my home so banking with them is no longer practical.

I use Chase and my girlfriend uses Wells Fargo. I have been to the Bank of America amphitheatre in Boston but that is the only connection I ever had with them

Mostly all banks take advantage of their customers by charging them hidden fees.

Thats news to me. I have money just 25.00 transferred from my checking to savings every month so don't get charged anything. Just 3.00 for  picture of my checks. Even if i had 10,000 id use it right away so it would never be at 10,000.

Don't have any close to me.  Never had any accounts with them.

I use to bank with them, when I would put my pay check in every other week they would hold it for 10 days because they said it was out of their area.  It was 12 miles from the branch I had started the account in, same county.  I left them and have not even considered any other of their services.  They, Wells Fargo and Donald Trump are also backers of the North Dakota Pipeline, another reason not to use them.

I just have a credit card with them but I rarely use it.  Still trying to pay down a balance.

Had a credit card with them but haven't used in years and just got a letter that they are going to close the account due to no activity.  Fine with me as there was no rewards tied to it.

I would close my account if they instigate that charge, just on principle. I use Wells Fargo and have done so for many years. They offer free banking so long as you get a salary paid into your checking account, which my husband does, and I get a free savings account so long as I either maintain a balance of $300 (which I do), or you have a monthly direct debit paid into the account as a transfer from the checking account to the value of $25 minimum (which I also do). Only twice over the last 7 years have I ever paid any charges to the bank and on both occasions it was because I mis-budgeted and went overdrawn - my mistake totally!

With all the trouble Wells Fargo is in, and all of the tremendous penalties and refunds to customers they are paying, I am surprised you are so happy with them.
