My Dad had bought a guitar and all the things that he needed to get started to learn and everything during his retirement. Did not last long. My husband and I were living in Galveston at the time he said he was going to do this and a few months later I got all the guitar and everything as a gift from him. He had given up. I admit I tried with no real effort before I gave it back to him who then gave it to my nephew Cody Hicks, his grandson. And well he is awesome at it. He has a you tube channel and while in the Marines was in a local cover band in D.C. He's back in Arkansas with his family and still strumming. So no I don't play but through the circumstances came out one who plays very well, so it's all good.
