Traveling by car

Do you like traveling by car on long trips where you are doing the driving or
do you prefer to take a bus, train or plane?

Depends on where I'm going.  If it's a long trip I'll fly.

I prefer to drive unless the distance it too far, then I like to fly to my destination and rent something when I get there.

I still prefer to travel by car, but the older I get, the harder it is on me.  My husband and I just traveled 700 miles one way last weekend and we divided it up into two days.  When we were younger, we would have thought nothing of driving straight through.  Last week, we stopped at a rest stop and just got out of the car and did some brisk walking for a few minutes.  It was amazing how much better it made us feel.

Me and my husband always traveled with car. Everytime we visit family to Florida, New Jersey, PA and NY.

If flying (and parking at the airport) was less expensive, I think I would do it all the time for anything over 5 or 6 hours.

I usually end up flying if I have to go some place far away, because anything else takes too long, and my vacation days are limited. I actually enjoy flying, except for going through security, which is a real hassle, (and American citizens shouldn't be subjected to such Communistic tactics.)

I love road trips, but I prefer to travel by plane. We usually do road trips though.

I like to travel on the road... You get to see so much more when you're driving. However usually when I'm on a trip a long distance away, I don't have the luxury in spending so much time just to travel to my destination. Thus for long distances, I'll usually fly instead of drive.

My preference is traveling by train.   You get to veg out and not worry about driving and watching your speed gauge.

I prefer traveling by car, it's so relaxing and you get to enjoy all of the sights of a different city.
