I don't think he will make a good president because he only cares about himself.

Round of applause for you!

I entirely agree. I never viewed him as more than an oversized child that likes to bully, but now that he's in going to be in the White House, he could actually do some damage. I can never claim that misogynistic, racist, homophobic embarrassment of a "president" as my country's leader.

Every President has to prove themselves, and as usual, there will be those who agree/like what he will do and those that don't agree/dislike what he will do.  You can't please everybody all the time.  It's a big country.  To be honest with you, ANYthing will be an improvement over how Obama has tried to destroy this country.

Only time will tell, but I do think it's only fair to give him a chance.

If he only cared about himself he wouldn't have left his business life to run for president, how stupid are you people that say he only cares about himself?  He CARES about this country and is trying to make it better, no GREAT AGAIN, so close your mouth and open your ears and pay attention to reality not just spout garbage because YOU don't like someone and have no clue about what really goes on in the world   Would like to know what you are doing to make things better for the country, (cue Jeopardy music) nothing, exactly :peace: 8)

He hasn't even officially been indoctrinated into office, and already he is proving to be a hideous, lying mess. Well, for those who voted for Trump, if he embarrasses this country, it is on your shoulders, ha ha.

I am not a fan but I am willing to let him prove himself.  However, I think he will have a presidency of some positives marred by an arrogant, bullying personality and much discontent among various factions in the population.  He certainly doesn't bring out the best in people. He is not a man who can represent the average man when you can go home to your various "estates" and live like he does.

Well, he already negotiated for Carrier to stay in the USA & not move to Mexico saving 1000 good paying jobs.    & he isn't even President yet.

How is he already proving he is a lying mess?

Did you know that huge rich companies keep their money offshore so not to be heavily taxed in the USA.   The corporate taxes in the USA are the highest in the world.  For example, Apple has billions of dollars in offshore accounts, they would rather borrow money from banks to be used in development in the USA than to use their offshore money.... because they don't want to be heavily taxed on that money. Apple, a very liberal company, doesn't want to be taxed in the US...   who do they think is paying for all the social programs... oh yeah, the middle class.    Trump cuts the corporate rates, the jobs come and/or stay in America.   Proper paying jobs, not fast food minimum wage jobs.... which is the jobs we currently have.  Apple is already negotiating to bring manufacturing jobs back to America.   How is that a failure.     We'll see, looks like a win- win for economic growth.  :)

In my state several studies have already concluded there are jobs but no one skilled enough to fill them.  People also have to learn higher skills and understand where the economy is going and what are the skills to align with it.  Being in fast food and being paid $15/hr is ridiculous or the same in a factory where you didn't need higher level skills in the day and still be paid $25/h.  That day, for the most part, is gone.
And when the jobs are here and people are filling them, I am willing to give Trump props IF he actually has had much to do with it.  At the same time, I will call attention when he brings out anger, nastiness, and bias when his own behavior provides people with the "go-ahead" to act the same.  THIS is the one of the worse aspects of Mr. Trump.

Carrier is still moving jobs to Mexico they're just not moving as many as before.

Chump has absolutely no clue what the hell is going on and because of that the real power will come from Pence he's going to be the one running the show.
