plans for the day
« on: December 09, 2016, 08:46:25 am »
I start out the day with things I want to do.
It might take me all day to get things done.
Sometimes, I do the most important thing last of all.
It still gets done.

Today I am off work.  I have made a list for me for things to get done.  Heading out in the cold soon to get started....not really looking forward to that part of it.  Temp has risen to 7 degrees

I'm working on an afghan for a Christmas gift this morning.  This afternoon I go to work at the library.  Wrapping some presents tonight.

I plan to walk up to the grocery store to get a few things.  I might need a little bit of caffeine first.
Have a great day!

First, I give thanks to the Lord.  Didn't have a chance to eat breakfast.  Had a mug of Tea.  Ran errands.  Had 2 rooms painted yesterday, found that they did a funky job of painting.  I am pissed.  Guy called back stating they wouldn't be able to come back today to fix the problem. They wanted to come back at 8AM tomorrow.  Too early for me.  Guy made many excuses which did not benefit me.  They will not be a go to guy for painting.  Pinting was not professional for a job that was over priced.

I am off tomorrow so I am going to clean house, head to Lowes for some building supplies, and then to Walmart for a little more shopping.

My plans for today are building Ginger bread house with a 3 year old and a 12 year old.  It should be fun and exhausting.

I had a vacation day from my day time job yesterday and had a list of about fifteen things that I wanted to get done. I finished three. One of those was working ten hours at my nighttime/weekend contractor job. I ended up doing fourteen hours which, to me, was an adequate replacement. I killed off a third thing which was doing laundry fro the family. I spent about three hours doing that and they didn't even notice when they got home. Doing dishes was not on my list and that took forty five minutes. That also went unnoticed. I passed the task completion on to today and, so far, have gotten nothing done. I walked the dogs, had a big breakfast, am killing off some small tasks and plan on working the second job thing for another ten hours.

I am disabled but I have certain things every day I have to do like take my son to work then I stop by the grocery store almost every day because if I get too much I would have a hard time getting it into the house.  I unload and load the dishwasher & do the counters and here and there a few other chores.  I have to do a little here and there.

I always start my day with: My list of "things to do today". Most important ones first...then the rest.
