How fast can you type?

I get to 70 wpm with 0 mistakes only a very short time before mishaps. There are fast people in the world, ever been on the typing sites? Do you like to type? Do you any keyboard shortcuts? When I get going typing, I feel I am playing the piano lol. Have a gr8 rest of the day lol

The last time I took a test it was around 110 wpm I think... But I practically have a keyboard as a third hand ever since I was a kid.

Just had this conversation with my wife and daughter in line for the Spiderman ride at Universal theme park over the weekend. (Part of the theming, being inside the office of the Daily Bugle newspaper was an old style typewriter). Wife took typing in high school and was fairly proficient. I use a computer for work, but do not type with the "correct fingers" and often have to look at the keyboard while I type, but I can still pound out legible words relatively quickly, but often with tiny mistakes.  (LOVE the auto correct on computers; HATE the auto correct on cell phones).


I told my daughter that I could type 750 words per minute, but that my error rate was about 97%.

I don't know how fast I am now, but I'm not as proficient as I was in high school. I took typing and did fairly well in it.

I dont know how fast I  type. I never did try those typing tests. Only cuz I know I type slow.  hehe

The last timed typing that I did (several years ago) was around 98 net words a minute.

i am not even sure how fast i can type with errors probably 50 or 60 with out i just dont know

Last I tested was 72 words per minute with no mistakes.  That was years ago, I'm sure with age I've slowed down a good bit though.

WOW, most of you type pretty fast. I do good with typing 45 wpm with no errors. I guess I could build up my speed if I wanted to but I really am ok with what I am doing.

Last typing test was 100 WPM but that is years ago.  Can still type pretty fast but have more errors now,
