I have heard it's good for hair but haven't tried it yet.  I may give it a try because mine is starting to thin out.

Yep, I have some castor oil here. I think it's a little too heavy for my hair to really see any results however I do use it on my eyebrows. My eyebrows have always been a little thin (especially one of them since I had my eyebrow pierced as a teen) and I've been using it to grow some more hair. Works really well for that, for me anyway.

Never heard of  doing it.  My hair has really been thinning out as i get older,  started when i got really sick a few years back. My gall bladder went bad on me (no stones) just  quit working and was deased I lost a lot of weight couldn't stand to smell any thing cooking let along eat it.  My whole body went  down hill. Had to be on a meal in a bag for 6 days before they brought me up enough to have surgery. Amazing thing was i was up the next day i felt so much better,  just for a short time.
And was able to eat and smell  a few days later.

melodylogan45, I have never heard of castor oil for growing hair. However, if you decide to try it let us know if it works.

vickysue, I had a serious health scare back in 2004. The combination of strong medication and a severe lack of sleep caused my hair to start falling out and it felt like straw, literally! My hair today is in great condition because I  put Coconut oil in my hair before I shampoo it with a non-sulfate shampoo and conditioner. I also put Aloe Vera from a live plant on my hair when it is wet after I get out of the shower and after I dry my hair.  You would not believe what a difference this has made. I would  highly recommend this  to everyone!

Yes, I have heard of it. I used to use it myself.  I don't need my hair any thicker so I don't use it anymore.

I've heard of it and may have tried once or twice but I'm not consistent with it.  Castor oil is very thick so you should mix it with some other type of oil to thin it out like olive oil or it would be very hard to get out.

I've never heard of this option for hair loss. I do agree it is a little thick.

I've heard of that too. You might want to check vitamins too.

Strange I just was reading about this for eyelashes. I was going to try it. I found a few different tips of what to try and castor oil was one. I would like to see before and after before I try it but I don't think it could do any damage
