It doesn't affect me. But I haven't been thrilled with the cost of it. Maybe they can come up with something better.

I have read these post and some say you have Medicaid well guess what not only are they repealing the ACA is what its real name is, they are going to screw with Social security and Medicaid so that leaves everyone with problems. Thanks to Ryan and This idiot POTUS. I say good luck to all Americans cause this is going to be a heck of a ride. When 2018 come we will see who gets to stay and who will go. I think the majority will change again and the ones with the most in office now will be seeing themselves back where they started in the dog house. Have a nice day.

If they want to fix the Affordable Care Act that would be great. They should not repeal it with nothing in it's place leaving hundreds of thousands of people without healthcare! I do not have Obamacare but working in healthcare it will be detrimental to too many people.

I seem to lean towards repealing parts of it but not all....there are just a bunch of other problems with health care that need to be addressed that have caused prices to get so high..

100% agree! For so many people to be excited to get rid of healthcare for thousands of people is completely heartbreaking. Instead of focusing on repealing it, the focus should be on how to make it better.

I did not have it so it does not effect me, but I agree with most, if they want to appeal it have something in it's place.  The Affordable Care Act was for people who could not AFFORD to buy health insurance, so with you all saying get rid of it, I hope one day YOU are not face with NO health insurance and existing conditions.  It helped thousands of people with no health insurance.  THINK PEOPLE!!!!

I don't think Trump will be getting rid of all of it all at once.  I believe they will be keeping the good parts and throwing away the  bad.  It does  tick me off that most of this has gone through  medicare along with medicaid. we the seniors who worked all of our lives to earn  some back are being totally screwed over it. We have not had a cost of living in 8 years while congress has voted them selves raise off and on.  I pray  Trump will get  some things straightened out.

I don't personally use it but have a daughter that is still in school that uses it.  She is obtaining her master degree and is in the internship phase which does not pay at all.  With paying for my insurance  and my husband's insurance plus all the other bills to run our household we cannot afford to pay for her insurance also. So at least she was able to qualify for insurance thru Obamacare not that she likes being on medicaid.  Thankfully she has something because she was hospitalized over the New Year and to let you know medicaid does not cover everything.  We are starting to receiving bills already and denials from Medicaid.  I agree it needs to be fixed but at least people have something if they chose to and not pay the penalty.

Did your heartbreak for the millions that lost their insurance when ACA was passed? It's been a huge failure and needed to be scraped.

I've thought about it and have been critical of it from the beginning. It's not a sustainable model. To make it affordable for some, it has been become unaffordable for others. This has forced many healthy individuals to decide to not buy insurance and just pay a small penalty. Since insurance companies rely on healthy people to cover the costs of the sick, it has become nearly impossible to break even for these insurance companies. This is why millions were notified this fall that their insurance company would no longer offer ACA plans, and the ones left saw premiums skyrocket. Which means its only going to get worse.

Obama Care has to be fine tuned and get the kinks out of it. Trump has no clue as to what he's gonna do to "repair" Obama Care - he just knows it needs to go. That's not a plan by any stretch of the imagination.  ::)

Obama Care was not a well thought out plan and it seems like Trump is going down this same road.  :-\

It will not affect me, but the healthcare system is a mess... Liberals and Conservatives have different ideas on how Americans get insured... Haven't looked into Rand Paul's health care proposal, but if Trump and the Republicans want to repeal Obamacare with a replacement, they should look there
