I like to buy just what I need. Trying not to spend so much money on food. I use cpns and shop around sometimes. I think I have enough clothes for a year or more. Have to use less of everything you buy from mayo to laundry detergent.

I feel like my husband and I live with less than most of our friends and relatives.  We are content with used cars, and don't need every new tech item as it comes out.  Also mostly only buy new clothes when needed, such as when worn out or for special occasions.

Little over a year ago I got my car paid for early and got of cable tv.  Now I have an antania that is on the wall inside of house and now I don't have to pay to watch tv.  I have saved a lot of money doing so.  Have saved a lot of money and now will be able to retire for the second time in a couple of months.  Hope everyone has a good day and may God bless each of you and keep you safe. :)

It is especially true if your living space is limited. The less clutter at home the better. You will have a clearer mind with minimum things. In Feng Shui, too many things create clutter and stagnation of energy “qi” (pronounced “chi”) from flowing smoothly. With energy being stuck, it blocks new opportunities for its occupants. The challenge for most people is that they tend to become attached to buying things they don't need.

Living on my husbands S.S. so already living with less. Try to only buy what we need. Our son lives with us and gives us 200.00 a month so that helps. We have to get rid of cable between the phone, internet and 3 tv's its about 200.00 a month.

I could live a minimal lifestyle to a certain extent. I think I live a pretty minimal lifestyle now because I am a single mother and don't earn much. The most I go out to eat is about once a month or less sometimes. I always cook. I don't go to hair salons I always do my own hair. I even cut my boys hair myself. But every now and then we may go to a movie or do something fun. Sometimes it gets exhausting doing everything yourself and living a minimal life.

Save money: Do not buy what you do not need and try to get freebies.

Living with less, is a way of life. The more you have the more it takes to get it done. Have a little, the shorter it takes to finish what you started. You don't have to worry about the amount of stress that comes with it when you have a lot. I try not to worry about the things I don't have, if its for me, then its for me, if not then it can just stay where its at until i know its for me.

I consider myself a minimalist.  I don't like being surrounded by too much stuff.  I feel confused if I have more than I can manage so I get rid of things on a regular basis.  At home, I'm more comfortable with extra space; rather than, having things I don't need.  I don't even own a sofa like most people do.  If I have visitors I usually seat them at my kitchen table.

Lately, I've been selling things I don't need on eBay.
Have a great day!
