a friend of the family sent us a photo for Christmas.
She was standing with her daughter and two grandchildren.
a few days later, we heard that she died.
I just responded to her email a couple days beforehand.
She commented on the fact that she had been a widow for 25 years.
She also was looking forward to coloring in the adult coloring book my dad sent her for Christmas.
My sister has had two published, "Heroines of the Old Testament" and "Heroines of the New Testament".

Gerianne, sorry for the loss of your friend.  It's always hard to get news of the loss of someone, especially when they were close.  The titles of the coloring books sounded intriguing, so I looked them up on Amazon.  Once I saw some of the inside, I LOVE them!!  So I put them on my shopping list to buy with my Feb cashout.

I sympathize. Got a wonderful Christmas card this year from my nephew saying he missed me. I sent one back to him saying I missed him too, and we needed to get together soon.

I wondered several days later why he had not gotten back to me.  Got notice from my sister that he had died that day I was wondering.

Broke my heart.
