I also see my demise in the single digits and my only regret will be leaving my husband so soon he is the love of my life and even after 21 years I still get more in love with him each day

I'm not religious, but I am spiritual. I made a deal with my friend that if I go, and there is a great afterlife, that I'd come back to let him know.

With my luck though, the afterlife will be an extremely long line at Walmart where you stand in line and wait to see God. You hand him a box of unfinished business, and he sends you to the back of the line to start over.

Laurie: You're only 57, so don't talk about single digits because I too am 57. And I'd like to be around another 20 years.

Try to place your unfinished business in "your to-do-list ASAP list". There will be nothing more to worry about!

Not everyone will be able to predict when their time is up. I wouldn’t think of it as an unfinished business. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, I would continue to care for my pets and entrust God to take care of the rest.  :peace:

Yeah, and it's an awful feeling.

If you go to sleep tonight and you don't wake up.....

would you feel like you had unfinished business?

I would.  I have a 14 year old cat with health issues and I wouldn't want to make my exit until I help her make hers.  She's my responsibility and I take my responsibilities very seriously.

If I die in my sleep I won't know the difference.  :)
