Cluster Homes
« on: March 07, 2017, 01:13:44 am »
Have you heard of these? They are new subdivisions that sell homes on under .30 of an acre. Houses built really close with little or no yard. We used to call these homes garden homes because you typically only had room for a small flower garden and patio homes that only had back patios rather than any yard. Well, cluster homes are being built all over East Texas. I have found several beautiful homes all over $300K up to $520K. I just don't think I could live that close to my neighbors. How would you listen to music if you can reach out your window and touch the neighboring house??? I think I may need at least a half acre or more, have 1 acre now only one house nearby. I like the idea of HOA taking care of my yard work but not ready to give up that much of my privacy for it. Do you live in such close proximity and how has it been?

Not to burst your bubble but please post this where it belongs in "off topic", You posted it in an area that is set for "offers" which has to do with Fusion Cash. Please see the posting guidelines.

I certainly wouldn't like to live that close to other people. It's really outrageous that they are charging so much for those houses. I guess it's what happens when there's a big economy boom. Really it's no different than the lots in many towns and cities, though.

I have seen developments here in Florida that are like that. Beautiful homes but they have no yards. I would hate to live in that type of environment.

I think these houses are too close for comfort. I do know someone that lives in a home like this and they enjoy it. No yardwork.

Well, those prices are just too expensive for living so close to neighbors...what is the deal?
