construction noise
« on: March 09, 2017, 08:40:34 am »
when a truck backs up, it makes a noise to let you know it's there and you can stay safe.
I hear that noise in the morning around 6:30 am.

The city has various construction jobs going on all the time.
I wonder what it is they are working on.
It is far enough away that I can't see what's going on.

I hear the garbage truck twice a week and it's usually between 6 and 6:30 in the morning.

Here, you can't make noise until 8:00 am unless they give notice or it is an emergency. Noise can hurt you, it is noise pollution, I can hear the traffic on the highway. Unfortunately, you have to make a stand to make them stop.  I wish you peace  :peace:

I'm honestly used to construction noise. A lot of the men in my family were construction workers at some point in their lives.

Legally you can't make noise in this area until 8am but sometimes I hear lawn mowers  7 in the morning.  I guess the neighbors try to beat the heat in the summer time.

I live close to the train tracks and i really don't hear them anymore unless someones on the tracks taking picture of the Eagles and they have to blow the horn to get the idiots to move. I'm telling you it's nut people let there kids run around looking for flattened pennies! NUTS and i watch this go on all the time and nothing is even done when people report it.  I've gone out and yelled at people and I get told off ... to mind my own business ! like i really want to see a 3 year old get hit by a train.

Use heavy duty ear plugs...they really work!
      Go back to sleep.

That is still early. My garbage truck comes about 5 in the morning and I live next to a main road so I hear trucks all night. Oh did I mention a block away from the train and also a church right across the street where the bell rings at 6 am 12noon  and  6 pm.  in the summer we have this hair salon that plays loud club music.  :o

What I can't stand is the landscapers who use those extremely noisy leaf blowers.  One company works on my neighbor's lawn (if you can call it that) and finishes up with the leaf blower right outside my bedroom window, usually while I am still in bed (I'm retired).  What gets me, though, is that the area he is "leaf" blowing is mostly dirt!

I can't stand hearing construction when I'm trying to sleep. It's the most annoying thing ever. Thankfully, I live in an area where I don't hear that too often.

I'm not having construction noises, but in the morning before 6 a.m. I hear garbage truck across from my house getting trash, wakes you up out of a sound sleep, annoying.
