I don't know about the red car and people seeing you.  My daughter had a candy apple red ford focus and someone pulled out in front of her and totaled it.  My car is burgundy, but the next one I get I want a pretty blue color.

I see a lot of black, white, and silver cars on the road.

I like black and grey personally but I do think red is the most popular at the moment.

Even though colors like red are good for other people to see you better, I always preferred darker colors (dark blue, green, burgundy and plum). I don't like bright colors (particularly red) because I was told they are magnets for police. The only light car colors I like are silver or gold.

I never liked the color yellow, reminds me of the yellow school bus, and seeing yellow on cars well, just isn't for me. my favorite color is blue .
