Guacamole people take note

I just remembered that I wanted to tell guacamole makers something important. If you choose to store your homemade guac in the fridge, leave the avocado stone in the middle. It will keep it from turning dark. Yay!

   Yes! I do not forget to squirt some lemon juice on the avocado once you slice or smash it.

Ah yes, I remember someone who worked at the produce section told me that. Avocados sound good right about now. I haven't had them in a while.

Thanks for that info.!  My husband absolutely loves quacamole and makes it fresh about every other week with our Saturday night meal.  Most of the time there are no leftovers but occasionally there is and I can't bring myself to eat it after it turns black.

Yes my mom has done this all my life and I have carried on the tradition. I came to college and did it and everyone thought I was crazy haha.
