Trump pulled it. I'm happy i pay a low premium  and have good care pay 5.00 at Kaiser to see a doctor. I understand people who are paying hundreds a month are pissed i would be also. My husband who is on medicare now, when he was working had terrible coverage.

Obama really messed my husbands checks up (loss of money) when he passed Obama care. I have little hope what so ever our take home salary will ever be where it used to be.

I'm sure all the people that will no longer be able to afford insurance or can't get covered for having pre-existing conditions aren't that thrilled. But hey who cares about the less fortunate people as long as it saves you a little money

I don't believe the government should be involved in a person's health care. It was against the laws for Obamacare because it's now lawful to force people to buy something. It was a failure from the start. I just wish they would transfer the $700 million or billion they took from Medicare to jump start Medicaid after it passed.

I have a preexisting condition.   I am fearful of losing my health insurance if the ACA is scrapped. I was  thankful and relieved that Trump pulled the healthcare bill.

The bill is covering pre-existing conditions, as it is now through the House.  The Senate is going to add things in before they vote.  So we don't know what the final bill will have.

One of the problems with Obama Care was out of the apx 30 million who were "using" it, over 20 million were paying the fine instead of buying insurance.   People wouldn't purchase insurance until they got sick, then they would get coverage until they were well, then they would cancel the insurance.  This basically screwed up the cost plan, because the money the insurance companies financially needed to afford to cover preExisting conditions, didn't get that "healthy" person money, because people who weren't sick weren't paying premiums.   Like Car insurance, need safe driver monies.    Unfortunately, those that abused the Insurance preExisting condition loophole basically caused the insurance companies to pull out...

This current AHCA insurance plan so far offers preExisting conditions to be covered; however, if you haven't had insurance for two months prior to signing up for the plan, your premiums can be up to 30% more.       This is due in part of the people that abused the Obama Care preExisting condition loophole.

I currently have so many pre existing serious condions and I need my insurance.  I have the following problems and would someone please explain to me how can I live without medical care because of pre existing condition

Lupus
Type 2 diabetes
high blood pressure
high cholesterol
Hypothyrodism
liver disease
heart disease
Vitamin D diffenicy
Neuropathy
20 tumors throughout my body even on bottom of my feet.  Right now none are cancer
Have had cancer 4 times and survived
I have over 50 cysts in pancreas
I am currently taking 16 medications a day.
It is so bad that I have very very bad dry mouth.  Most mornings I wake with my tongue literally stuck to roof of my mouth.  By the time I do finally get it unstuck I am bleeding badly for an hour.  This is a daily struggle.

I have 6 bulging disks, 2 herniated disks, 3 pinched nerves and 3 tumors on my spine.  No doctor is willing to operate even though 3 have all agreed I need surgery badly or I will end up in a wheelchair.  They all say I have too many medical problems and will not take a chance on me.  So I am living on pain pills (oxycotin) and muscle relaxer (somas) and have to take sleeping pills.  I take all 3 just so I can sleep a few hours a night.

So what am I suppose to do and I sure cannot ever work.  I been waiting for 2 years now for disability, I have a hearing coming up in July.
I am sure there are people out there with worse history than I do and we all need help some how or another because we cannot work and not like some people say that we are too lazy to go out and work.  I would like some of these people that say we are lazy to live in my body just 24 hours and tell me to work.  I am 51 years old and have a body of 91 year old and getting older by the minute.

I had 3 kids all born with pre existing conditions.  I lost 2 of them at early age, one at age 5 and one at age 8.  My third is 28 years old and pretty much healthy now.  This is reality of my life and not crying about it but if someone can tell me how to work with all these problems I am willing to listen.  You cannot take away insurance from people like me because of pre existing condition, or I should just commit suicide which would better than living without medical care.

Why do you think you would not be covered?
Pre-Existing conditions are to be covered in the AHCA by insurance carriers, they allotted 8 or 9 billion just for that.

If you are poor & on welfare you get your insurance for free from the government. In CA, that don't even federal coverage, because the state covers the working poor...   if you are single & make less than $1300 a year you get full coverage with no deductibles or copay.
When you get on disability, you get your insurance for free from the government.
Government doesn't care if you have a pre-Exisiting condition, they cover everything.

It's actually that they can choose not to cover you or give you a higher premium to the point that you can't afford to be covered. They're also allowed to reenact annual and lifetime limits for what they cover for some employer sponsored plans. Guess who is going to be seeing more doctors therefore using their insurance more often?  They're also trying to get rid of the medicaid expansion. That 8 billion can be used for a variety of things and not necessarily to subsidize coverage .
