I can't imagine having that kind of money to begin with.  My kid got a $50 gift card to wal-mart for dorm stuff when she graduated.  And at the time that was a huge stretch for me.   It's very sad to me how parents can instill such little value in the children they created.  We are not to make adjustments to our temple.  We are to use these temporary bodies for God's pleasure.... His beauty in his likeness is how we were created... I actually consulted with a cosmetic surgeon once... for a lift and couldn't bring myself to do it.

sounds crazy to me .. most kids get money toward a car or for expenses in college.  Oh how the world has changed.

Very poor parenting, in my opinion.  Just another reason why the youth are the way they are now days.
Have a wonderful day!

Breast implants for your High School daughter's graduation seems ridiculous to me.

Utah is close to California. California statistically has the most plastic surgeons. They are migrating. Plastic surgery, plastic lawn, plastic mulch, what next? We may have a crisis on our hands. I have been to California and it is a beautiful place if they can keep it real.

My daughter was the high school valedictorian and lettered, all four years, in: Tennis, Soccer, Deca, Marching band and student government. I would/will give her anything within means and beyond. She got a full ride to the best engineering school in the country and is currently studying abroad at the third best engineering school in the world. If she decided that she wanted breast augmentation, or any surgery for that matter, I would be willing to give it to her. Just as I would give my son anything that he wanted.  I have taught my children to be free thinkers and have never, directly, imposed my biases/judgements on decisions that they make. I have been told that they have been brought up right and have every belief in the world that they will make the right decisions.

That's a bit much I think. I'm all for people doing what makes them happy and making positive changes about themselves but I'm a bit iffy on plastic surgery. I know I wouldn't do it.
