Sleeping in
« on: April 15, 2017, 04:52:09 am »
Do you wake up early in Saturday mornings or do you
sleep in?  I use to wake up around 6:30am on saturday
and get my house work started, but I have slowed down
some.

I have to get up at 5am during the week to go to work. On Saturday I usually sleep in to 8am and then get my day started.

Fortunately, I'm able to sleep until I naturally wake up.  It's been a long time since I had to set an alarm clock.  I consider that one of the many ways that I've been blessed.

Have a great day!

On my weekend off, I try to sleep in.  I slept today until 7am.  Thought about getting up, rolled over and slept til 8am.

Normally I am up at 5:30am

Sometimes I wake up early or sleep in on Saturday mornings...it depends on how early I get up through the week.

It is a rare day when I get the chance to sleep in on Saturdays, so when I have the chance I absolutely take it! Today I slept until 10am! And I probably could have slept longer if I had the chance!

most Saturdays i wake up to read my Bible as i do every day, no difference. But today or this morning i had to go to Prayer Breakfast, enjoyed it, spending that extra time with God.

I used to have a night shift job, and thought it was so awsome I could sleep in until 10:00 AM every morning. But now, back to life, back to reality. New job I have to get up a lot of days at 6 AM and go to bed around 10:30. Weekends, there's not much sleeping in either, because you're on a schedue. When I'm lucky I sleep in until 8 AM. Been trying to make myself just lay in bed, even if I'm not asleep on weekends until later.

The best part about retirement is I get to sleep until I don't want to sleep anymore.  I put in my time, getting kids up for school and going to work at 8 am for many years.  My internal clock does not like those kinds of hours at all, and I never got enough sleep.  But now, I'm usually in bed around 3 am and sleep til 10 or 11.
