I am four months away from my youngest taking off for college. My primary goal in life was to have and raise two wonderful children. I have no doubts that both kids will be total successes in college so my main purpose has been achieved. Kind of sad when I think about it but now I suppose I can start working towards them achieving home ownership, marriage and children of their own. I can also spend time getting reacquainted with my wife. We were so busy raising two wonderful children that we kind of lost touch with each other. I can also start watching over y parents as well. They are in their eighties and starting to become forgetful. I visited them last week and emptied about thirty pounds of moldy food out of their refrigerator.

I raised a son and daughter and now the grandmother of 5 girls. My children grew up quickly but it seems as though my granddaughters are growing up much more quickly. I think as a person gets older time seem to go by much more quickly. Will someone please slow it down.

I have two daughters and I do agree with you there.  Seems like yesterday that they were not even able to walk.  And now they are both teenagers and growing up so so fast.

Yes they do. I have four boys and I remember having four baby boys, One will start middle school next year and the other two will follow behind the following year. I can not believe I will have teenagers soon. I still remember being a teenager myself, I think they will turn out better than me though.

Indeed. I got a seven year niece and four year old nephew. They're growing up too fast for my liking, that's for certain.

That's what people keep telling me.  I don't have any of my own to know personally but I am sure it's true.  After all, time is flying with kids or without.
