Does anyone use one? if so does it help with your stress?

My son who has ADHD uses it and he says that it helps him focus and it helps when he feels anxious. So I would say yes, it does help with stress as well.

I have to laugh. I week ago I didn't even know what a fidget spinner was now everyone I work with has one and we got a notice that kids could not bring them to school because of all the commotion. We don't have one so I don't know if they help.

I had no idea what a fidget spinner was, so I googled it.  When I saw it, I recognized that the family in front of me in church had three kids and each one of them had one.

I had just read about em last Thursday (I think it was).  The same day my youngest came in from school with a letter from her principal saying they fidget spinners need to stay home as they have become a distraction in class.   Saw that coming!

I didn't know what it was until I saw it on the news about being a distraction.  I guess it's like a stress ball from back in the day.

saw them but dont know of anyone with one yet..i think my granddaughters have showed them to my daughter..i saw on fb where someone was making their own with ties and some sort of washer or bolts or something

No problem! ... I was using it one day without knowing I picked it up and let me tell you, it can mesmerize you and I felt a serene feeling come over me! lol ... Who knew! ??

I had never heard of these before reading this forum this afternoon.  I IMMEDIATELY knew exactly what it was after reading a couple of comments.  I had never SEEN one before yesterday afternoon!


My wife, daughter, and I went over to the local amusement park for a few hours Sunday after church - they just opened for the season this weekend and we wanted to get some lunch and check out the new additions to the park.  While waiting in line for the train ride, a middle aged gentleman with a jacket from a roller coaster enthusiast club had one of these that he kept fidgeting with (for lack of a better term) while waiting in line.


I kept wondering to myself, what the heck is that THING that guy keeps playing with?  Now I know!

I've been hearing about them for about a week.
Don't have one... but they have them on ebay today in the daily deal section for a little over $3 - free shipping & no tax.   I might have to order one just to see... i'd better get 3 for all 3 kids
