Our youngest granddaughter (6 yrs old)  wanted one when I took her to the mall a couple of weeks ago so, of course I bought her one lol.  When her mother saw it she told me they were for ADHD!  I had no idea but we decided at 6 yrs old she wouldn't understand what they were for anyway so she got to keep it.

don't know if they help or not, they can sure drive you nuts if you are not the one playing with it.

I have one, in the shape of a batman symbol.  I don't know if it removes stress or not, but they are cool and fun.  they are pretty cheap too

Following up on my thoughts with these fidget spinners.  Last week was our churches VBS - and of course some kids brought there fidget spinners along with them.  When these things are in the wrong hands It not only causes a distraction... but harm.  I'd heard of a story where one little girls hair got tangled in one from another child putting it to close to her.  I had a child put a spinning fidget up to my forehead (twice) ouch, rude and annoying. When my daughter saw them in the store the other day she told the cashier. "My mom won't let me get one... she says there obnoxious." The cashier replied back with, "Well; she's not wrong."  Point for Mom.
