Bingo!

I've been going to Bingo with my mum the last few weeks and I find I really enjoy it. Do you play Bingo often? Have you won any big prizes?

When I was a kid, the local AM radio station used to broadcast bingo games weekly on the air.  Various area businesses had bingo cards available and I think they were also advertising  sponsors for the games.  Each week had its own special cards printed up good for that week's games.  They called the numbers over the airwaves and players would call in to the radio when they hit bingo to win a prize.


I've played a few of the bingo games for mobile phones and that can be kind of fun also.



My parents used to work local bingo games back in the 80s and 90s to support the church and school. I helped on occasion, but they were always too smoky for my liking. This was long before the statewide ban on smoking at indoor public places.

I have played with friends but not very often. I usually don't win anything so I don't go because I can't afford to lose too much

I went once about a year ago, will never go back. Although it is a fresh air state and no indoor smoking bingo halls can allow smoking. It seemed like everyone in the hall was smoking except me. I was so sick by the end of the night. I was cured of wanting to go again.

I played once and won 50.00 think i would of gone back. Anyone remember the show Rosanne and the funny bit she did about bingo.

LOL I HATE Bingo!! Anytime Ive ever played Im one away, and some older blue haired lady shouts Bingo! Then that same lady shouts Bingo several times more before the night is over

I never went out to play bingo but I always wanted to try it. I think I will play with my kids now that I read this post. I know they will enjoy it. I may get a few prizes too.

I need to play bingo. I could use some extra cash. I may go to a day bingo that is near my house.

We have not been and played in a long time.  We have to go to another state to play.

I go once or twice a year, I haven't won any major prizes, but 20 bucks here or there I have.  Its a fun pastime.
