Daniel Day-Lewis Retiring

Daniel Day-Lewis gave so many amazing performances throughout his career that he rightfully won three oscars.  He throws himself into every role he ever played, and is just mesmerizing to watch.  It does place a strain upon the mind and body to immerse so deeply into every role you agree to play, that I suppose it makes sense he wants to leave it all behind.  He's given decades of his heart and soul to Hollywood so, while I will be sad he won't be giving any more performances, I do wish him the best in his retirement.

Retiring just means the golden years just begun. Take these years to enjoy and relax .Life goes fast to stumble forever.

Yes he didn't do that many movies, but the ones he did he was pretty amazing in them.  He will probably come back in a few years.
