No big deal. A handshake is a handshake is a handshake. 

A firm one is preferable, but just offering it is polite. 

Most things that Trump do are over the top; not conventional or ho-hum.

Have never thought about his handshake.I will have to pay attention next time I see him on the news. Usually, he is saying something obscure so I don't notice his mannerisms.

Very difficult for me to evaluate his handshake when he states or does some of the most outlandish things. His tweets have a tendency to overshadow or undermine any type of "good" that he does.
