Would you rather?

Would you rather have to scream every thought you ever have for the rest of your life or go deaf and blind?

I had an interesting conversation with my coworkers about this question. Because on the one hand, going deaf and blind would lead to a very difficult life. Not hearing and not seeing make life challenging. But on the other token, screaming all the time and screaming your personal thoughts might be embarrassing or hurtful or even downright mean. Like imagine your significant other asking you if they look fat in their clothing. If you think yes in your head, you would have to scream "Yes!" at their face. Could you handle that?

I would love to hear anyone thoughts about this

I cannot see myself going rest of my life screaming at people.  I would rather be deaf or blind.  Of course I would rather not do any of the three.  I would not wish it on anyone to be blind or deaf.

This is a great "would you rather," but I would have to go with yelling everything I said because a least people would probably laugh because they would think I was insane. The only problem though is that I could never tell anyone a secret.

I suppose I will be screaming for the rest of my life. Of course, I'll be sure to have some type of receptacle to scream into so that my thoughts do not reverberate too loudly, LOL. Interesting topic; I like it!

Deaf and blind. My private thoughts are my business. I can't imagine having to share them with the world.

Well, if Helen Keller could lead a successful and meaningful life, then so could I as a deaf & blind person. It seems much more doable than screaming all of my thoughts.

I wouldn't want to scream everything. Thankfully we don't really have to pick but I would never be okay with screaming everything.

Our bodies start breaking down the day we are born, so I'd like to have my parts functioning till I do lose it due to aging & other. Screaming is okay, I'll just gargling to help with the sour throat.
