At one time we placed all our coins into a jar.  When a large amount was accumulated we would roll them up.  The money would then be used toward our oil bill during the winter months.  Now that we use primarily debit cards, we do not have much more than a quarter saved for the Aldi cart.

When I was working I would save my change and ended up collecting quite a bit.  Now I don't use cash that much, so I don't get a lot of change.

I have always kept a change jar. It's fun to roll them up and watch the total rise. I don't use cash too often anymore though so there's less and less to roll nowadays.

I don’t save coins for rainy day. Any coins I have on my wallet, I would try to use them when I do grocery shopping so I don’t accumulate more. Coins are heavy to carry around overtime.

I usually let my change add up for a while, then roll it and cash it in at my bank. I typically use it as "play" money to buy things I usually wouldn't be able to justify otherwise.
