This summer is flying and now the kids are getting ready to buy school supplies. Time surely is going by fast. If I could rewind time, I would start with Memorial Day and do my summer over.

Yes I'm enjoying my summer, I can't believe it is almost done already. Next thing you know we are all going to be sitting around the table eating our thanksgiving dinner preparing to welcome 2018. Time goes by so fast, geeze.

Yes, but it's August now. I hate August because I grew up having to go back to school in August, and that was so depressing for me after I hadn't been in school for a while. School should start in September in the Northern Hemisphere because August is too hot here.

I have to say I haven't had any real chance to enjoy it. Ive been babysitting and taking care of other people the entire time.  We did manage to make it to a creek once for a few hours, that was about it.

I haven't been able to put in for leave, so a resounding NO in that respect, LOL. Not looking forward to the impending heat wave. Ugh, gotta love the Northwest.

I am sorta enjoying it aside from the heat that hits my room.

The veggie garden is a joy, not the weather.

Love when the cooler air of fall comes in, but then bye-bye veggie garden.

Next spring, hoping all the grand-kids coming up....so glad to have summer, fall, winter pass quickly. Miss the kiddos.

Summer is the same routine as any other time of the year. It is hot and miserable here. Outside activities aren't really enjoyable.
