I hate when surveys tell you it take you 5 minutes  for .10 cents to complete the survey and when you click on it and loads it then tells you it  is a 25 -30 minute survey.

That is not as bad as when you take the survey and it takes 45 minutes and you forget how much the pay is and you have already invested a bunch of time so you don't want to quit then you complete it and it says congrats here is your 10 cents.

AGREED!  This is really frustrating. I always try to remember how much it is for and then if it gets so long that it isn't worth the payout with no end in sight, I can just abandon it.  But when attempting multiple surveys in a short span of time, it is easy to get mixed up and forget what the payout is for this one...   Ugh!

I've been caught in that dilemma of investing too much time on a survey, too.  Something else demands your attention or you need to be somewhere and you realize you just can't stop until you get that 'thank you' page.  Even though we know we are not going to qualify for each and every survey sometimes getting a live one to complete and credit is like reeling in a big :fish:.

I don't pay much attention to how much time you're told it will take to complete a survey. They usually give you a generous amount of time to complete them.  8)

Their estimates are not very accurate, in my opinion.

Besides, if it's interesting, I don't even care about the time investment.

I agree. I don't like that either. Another thing that I have found is you answer a few questions and then they say they are looking for a survey for you. LIKE what the hell shouldn't there already be a survey

I hear what you are saying ... that is why I only do the the surveys when I know I have plenty of time to spend on them if they run into extra time

Most of the surveys are like that. It is very annoying, but I've learned to not depend on the time frame stated. I always expect them to be longer, and if they are indeed short, then I get a happy surprise.

I hate surveys that I complete and never get paid my credit.  That happened yesterday.  I am totally pissed about that.
