Computer batteries
« on: August 05, 2017, 12:54:07 pm »
My laptop batter is pretty dead. I can only go about 20 minutes now without recharging. Very annoying.

I am broke, have to fix my car, and cannot afford a new battery.

Stuff like that is why I take surveys and come to sites like this.  I get payout this month, and it will cover my battery....yay!

Congrats on your payout, and so sorry to hear about the battery. I'm hoping mine doesn't die for a long time as it's made into my laptop. Not sure what to do about it then lol

I sure hear you, my phone has been running low and taking more time to charge. I guess 'yep' on surveys, cashing out, and having a way to pay that silly bill.

Oh, so true that our cashouts pay the pesky bills.  I had an unexpected battery issue with my keyboard on a PC.  I didn't realize that I would need batteries until the cursor stopped working while I was trying to complete the Captcha for the PTC.  I was relieved that I had already cashed out for July.  Believe me, that was weird.  I sort of panicked because I'd reached that last step for PTC and it wouldn't work.  I tried refreshing the Captcha code over and over thinking it had something to do with the Captcha itself.

My doesn't hold a charge that long any more.  Keep it plugged in all the time when I an using it.  But think the fan is starting to go on.  Trying to save up for a new laptop but something else always comes up.  Thank I have 2 more in the house to use.

Laptops are on ebay for pretty cheap....  I got a refurbished Dell laptop for $67 to use just at work.  It's been great!

My laptop battery doesn't hold a charge for long either.  I end up sitting at my desk with the lap top plugged in.
Sometimes I have taken my laptop outside on the patio on nice days....just need to get an extension cord.

I am grateful for FusionCash and the  cashouts I have made.

I had a laptop until the fan burned out.
The cost of a new fan or new laptop didn't make sense.
I decided to buy a CPU.
I use "airdust" once a year; I have a friend who told me about it.
It helps prolong the life  of a CPU.

Good Luck with your cashout ... I generally always keep my laptop plugged in anyway so I don't have to deal with it stopping in the middle of what I'm doing ..

I mostly use my laptop as a desktop, so I probably wouldn't even notice a short battery life. They actually say it isn't good to use it plugged in all the time, so once a month or so I try to use the laptop on battery so it won't go bad.

Yeah, my laptop is telling me to replace my battery now. I only get about an hour or so without the wire now.

Google JediJohnnie and May the Force be with you!
