Wigs
« on: August 07, 2017, 04:00:51 am »
Any ladies out there wearing wigs these days for whatever reason. I
just purchased another one this weekend that I am going to ease into
My hair regimen. It took three times going to different wig shops to find
one I would be happy with.

They have so many styles to choose from.

I am glad we have options to wear wigs whether for a change of hair style or for health reasons.

I agree. Wigs are great. My sister (may she rest in peace) wore a very nice wig while she was going through chemotherapy for cancer and continued wearing it until she died. She said it gave her a lot of confidence and made her feel like she was looking good even though she was very ill.

When I went through chemo I was so thankful for wigs.  Now they look so real, people can't tell if they are wigs or your hair.  It seriously made going through chemo a whole lot easier, it gave me my confidence to go out and not feel that people were looking at me.

Hi ladies,  I washed and braided my hair last night and tried on my wig again. So today I will be wearing it out in public so I can get use to it. Wed, I will be wearing it to work for the first time.  I am looking forward to
Looking better than I do without the wig.

I love wigs and extensions. There are so many options that we have with changing our hairstyles. It's a fun way to change it up.

Wigs were really popular in the 1970's. I use to wash and style them for my friends. One of my friends has really thin hair and her wig looked better than her real hair. I was happy for her.

Wigs have come a long way from when I was growing up.  Back then, you could spot a wig from a mile off.  Now days, you can't tell the difference.  I have a friend with thin hair who bought a wig just for fun, and it looks absolutely great on her.

I think  they look great on people, sometimes you cannot even tell it's a wig the hair looks so natural; I have just never been able to get into them for me personally; but wish I could, they do give you options to change your look.

I think wigs are not cool at all.  I just think natural hair is the best looking.
