If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't have necessarily gone to college.  I think I'd learn how to be a self-sufficient person living off the land, foraging for food in dumpsters and getting my clothes from foodbanks.

Pick something that you will love to do, you will be working a long time.

Chose something you are passionate about. When you graduate college and get out into the work force you want to be working at something you will enjoy.

College would have been a waste of time and money for me because I'm unable to compete in the left-brain fields.

If I could have studied subjects like numerology and/or Tarot in the public school system - I might have been an overachiever.

I believe if you can learn about YOURSELF you'll know what you passionately enjoy and where you can make a significant contribution.
Have a great day!

My parents have been pressuring me lately on choosing a major in college, telling me viable jobs in the future, etc.
My passion is film, but thats hardly a stable job now, probably even less so in our future. My dad says I should do nearoscience because thats the future of brainwashing lol.
Im thinking of just going into psychology. It's a science for people who wanted to take art.

You should do what you want to do. But you need to think about the future as well. I know a guy who went to college and has a degree in physical education. And now is upset because he can't even get a job as a gym teacher. He borrowed money to go to school. And owes money but all he can get as far as a job is a cashier at a fast food place. You need to look at where you live. Are there jobs there? Are you willing to move to where the jobs are? You can go to school for "film" whatever that is...but you need to be willing to move to a place where that would be useful. Where I live that would be as useless as the dude who went to be a gym teacher.

Make sure you listen to your parents. My daughter went to college for 5 years and didn't even complete her associates degree. She messed around a lot. Now she is really regretting it. She is looking for a job and most of the jobs she wants require a college degree.

Although your parents are giving you advice, you need to pursue what you want because you are the one who will be working the job in addition to paying any school loans. Go to your advisor as well to seek help.
