Where were you born/ where do you live now?

I live in Las Vegas Nevada.  I was born in Beirut Lebanon and came to United States 40 years ago on July 5th due to middle east war.  I do not have any regrets of moving.  I have gone back once to get married.  I have plans of making one more trip before I die.  Things have changed so much since We left and it is for the better.  I cannot wait to make the trip,  I plan on going back next year sometime.  I am traveling with my youngest sister who was 3 years old when we came here and she is the only one in the family that has not been back but strangely enough can speak Arabic lot better than me who was 10 when I came here.

I was born in Bolivia and now live in the United States. We live here because I was born with Spinal Muscular Atrophy and require medical attention that is more advanced than is available in Bolivia. I can never return to the city my family lives in because the altitude is so high it would be impossible for my lungs. They have come to visit me but the trip is very expensive. My brother and mom have gone back so I get to visit my relatives vicariously through them. And of course, facebook helps us all stay in touch.

I'm in a different town but the same state for now.  I've lived in a different state and country but I came back to my home state about eight years ago.  I plan on moving again to a different state eventually.

I was born in Los Angeles and since 1969 have lived in Oregon and have no intention of going back, other than to visit relatives every few years. They seldom come this way, because they are too busy being involved in the rat race down there.

Amazing great comments on this subject!! I was born and raised in Montana, a very small town just west of Missoula. I have moved away and came back numerous times, and I am currently back in my hometown, but I definitely do not want to stay here, even though my mom, sister and brother still live here. I have lived in Idaho, Kansas, and Iowa, which is where I hope to return to asap, as my youngest daughter and granddaughter live there.
