Ready for fall

I like summer the most.  After the storms from Harvey came through Tennessee the last couple of day it was cool here yesterday.  That is unuseable for this time of year here.  I guess spring is my next best time of year and winter is my least.

It has been a little cool here at night here lately. I actually enjoy the cool weather at night. Good sleeping weather

Someone needs to tell my t'matoes it is September. A bunch are still not fully red.

However, glad they are not all ripe at the same time.

With the cool temps we have here now, I am loving it. Heat and humidity do me in.

Fall is my favorite time of the year because the weather is just right but I'm not excited about what follows - winter.

No I am not ready at all.  We just didn't have a very long summer.  It just goes by so fast.  My leaves on the trees are starting to turn already.  Makes me sad.  It will be pretty when go on vacation next month but it is so early for the trees to be turning so soon.

I am originally from New York and was born in the winter months, so naturally, I am not the biggest fan of summer time. I prefer to deal with the cold (which is much easier) than with the hot (which is more difficult). Certainly, I am more than ready to receive the upcoming autumn and winter months with outstretched arms.

I will take 90 degrees any day over 1 foot of snow. I am not looking forward to shovelling and icy roads and schools closing and everybody running to grocery stores.
