anyone have any home rememdies for hives i went to dr they gave me tons of meds never figured out why i wake up 3 am covered

Benadryl plus to help with itching  I used oatmeal aveeno.you can also use yard let oatmeal soap. I would also do pepcid ac it contained a histamine 1blockee. Take 1 of each. I had hives really bad in 2009. I sympathize. The doctor gave me steriods for medicine. I sympathize.

I have a friend who breaks out in had hives all she takes is benadryl and it helps clear them right up

yes but ive never had it like this and for some reason it hasnt came back i think it because i was working in hay in hot weather

I would take Benadryl and bathe in Oatmeal aveeno.

well i went to hospital got a benedryl shot worked much quicker then the pills it must have been the hay i was working in mixed with the heat making me sweat

No home remedies, just use something for itching, like they said, doctor would give you a shot for a severe case of the hives.

I hope your hives never come back. I have had serveral bouts with hives . mine are auto umme and don't know the cause  this is the 1st time in 5 years that I did not have hives thru the summer. I was on an unbeiveable amount of medication. :rose: :pumpkin: :peace: :wave:
