bronners
« on: August 23, 2017, 03:19:15 pm »
Instead of using my cashouts for a vacation fund, me and my fiancé were talking about using all this money and all the change that we have saved over the last year to go to Bronners the winter wonderland and massive Christmas store.

I am all for it. I love going there. Its like a 2 to 3 hour drive to get there from where I am.

I am thinking whatever money is left over would then go into my certificate of deposit. Right now I have $25 in the "CD" and it makes a PENNY of interest every month and its been a couple years since I have been able to put any money into that account.

Good planning! I have all of my fusion cash awards direct deposited into a money market account and then transfer the amounts out to other investments that pay a better interest rate or open new bank accounts that pay a bonus for opening an account. Someone told me, at work today, that Key Bank is paying a one hundred dollar bonus for opening an account and leaving it open for six months. I will have to check that out on Sunday morning. I promised myself that I would only research accounts twice per month and that the research would occur on Sundays so I would not become obsessive.

I live in Michigan and I have never been there but I really want to go.  I have family up that way, so I should just make a trip and stop there, then go see the family :)

I had never heard of Bronners so I googled it.  Wow!  You will spend hours there Azanne07.  That is quite a place!
