I am prepared. I have all the important things.
all the rest can be replaced.
I have renters insurance and it said that windstorms are covered.
Hurricanes are high wind storms.
I'll do something else if I am not covered.
Things can always be replaced.

I'm praying also.  My oldest son is in St. Pete and is hunkered down at his house.  I have a niece in Ft. Lauderdale and she's staying home in a safe room.  All we can do is pray and hope things turn out ok.

I can't even imagine living somewhere that is subject to such devastation on a REGULAR BASIS.

My parents are currently in Florida.

I have two friends in Florida one in Naples and one in Miami.  Hope they are safe with all the others!  Just went thru this last week with family in Houston and thankfully they were untouched.

Daughter in West Palm decided to stay home and not evacuate once the storm was projected to go west and hit the gulf  side. They HAD a plan to go to a reinforced concrete office building where her boyfriend runs a sandwich shop, but have since decided to stay home and bunker down. With tornado warnings and storm surge, I really wish they had just stuck with the original plan. #NotSomethingToPlayWith

My six refugees from Irma arrived up here in Wisconsin Sunday night late.

So glad they are here. Lonnnng drive up.
