Wow, eight kids! What a blessing! I only have two kids, both grown. I know how happy I was when they were children and living at home, so I can only imagine how happy you are! Blessings to you and your family.

I have 1 child. He is grown and living on his own. I thought that I wanted more kids, but I am glad I only had 1 because they are costly and I would not want my child to lack because I have too many to care for.

I never had any brothers or sisters, so I created a big family by having four children.  I think eight is a wonderful goal, if you have the strength and means to have that big of a family comfortably. We didn't plan the first three, but DID plan the fourth.  I wanted something to keep me busy in my old age!  BTW, you can watch that fourth child on the current season of "The Voice."  Natalie Stovall

I don't have any.  I am 32 and I do really want to have kids one day.  It's hard for me to say how many I want because right now I can't imagine having one from a financial perspective.  If money was no issue I would want 2-3.

We did have eight, two of mine, two of hers and four of ours and now we have 13 grandkids with the two oldest married, so guess what's coming? The family I grew up in was three of my mom's, three of my step-dads and one of theirs.

I don't think you are nuts eight is wonderful if you have the means to take care of them. I myself have none but I inherited one through my boyfreind additionally we are talking about having our own child when our situations are better.

Funny you should ask. Our daughter and son-in-law told us all that they wanted eight children and we just kind of chuckled about it. Guess what? They has nine now and they are the coolest kids I've ever known. 

So go with it, girlfriend. It's a rowdy fun house.
