the president's speeches
« on: September 28, 2017, 07:21:01 am »
some of us, including myself, ignore the speeches given by the president.
the speeches can be boring.
I happened to tune in to the president's speech yesterday.
It all made sense and was easy to follow.

...because he's the right person for the job at the right time -- this is exactly what this country needs to hear right now in simple and clear language -- whether you like him or not.

Most people that hate him want a free ride in this country.

Have you guys ever watched House of cards? It's a little guilty pleasure I watch now and then.  So much of the politics are dramatized and over acted in the show....but, it goes to show just how ridiculous politics work. I'm glad and happy to hear what Trump has to say instead of a writer who has polished his comments to be politically correct.  Truth be told and he's the guy who doesn't care if ya like what he says or not! We ALL have freedom of speech and that starts with our leader!

Sorry I think he is hateful, crude, rude, vulgar and a complete embarrassment.  I certainly fear the next generation hearing the trash coming out of his mouth.  Politics aside he is unfit to be president.  I am not looking for any "free ride" ,  I don't want a President, his family and his croonies taking unnecessary "free rides"(all those private jet trips) on my tax dollars (when they are billionaires and could pay for their own trip to see the eclipse).    Trump does not care one bit about the average citizen,  he has no interest in proving good affordable health care he is just obsessed with undoing anything and everything Obama did regardless of the implications.

I don't listen to any of his speeches, try not too even look at him when he comes on TV, he's a joke, but that's just me.

I agree.  He scares me.   He and I do not believe the same on major issues.  I respect folks that voted for him but he scares me and I also do not believe he cares about the average person.   I also see his agenda as undoing everything President Obama did, I believe that to be his main motivation.   I also could never get past the remarks he made on Access Hollywood.

He is the President weather some likes him or not.  Most of the time  he makes sense and  he does want to make this country great again and I think he can and will but has an uphill battle with the  democrats who want the same old thing and that is to keep making money off of us without doing a dang thing for us.  they will fight  him all the way. I hope and pray we get some one with a little sense elected soon for the senate. Even if you don't like him you should respect him. We spent 8 years listening to Obama and watching him try to destroy the country and build it too  his  dictatorial liking. Thank God he was not able to too.

I tend to pay a lot more attention leading up to a presidential election.  I don't pay as much attention during the presidency.  I do pay attention to what is going on, but I'm not as concerned with actually hearing the speeches etc.
