So sickening. I have 4 siblings that live there and they are all safe. I wish I can wake up the shooter and ask him why he did it so we can have an understanding of his violent act and to show him what he did to those families who are without their loved ones. So deeply sorry for all the families who have lost their loved ones.

This was a very packed festival arena from what I gather. Lots and lots of people. Really impressed by the number of people killed, because usually mass shootings really aren't that big. It is just a few people. And at first it was only one more than the next biggest, but then I guess a few more people passed. And it terms of number people hurt, is it the biggest? It seems big. This wasn't a shot gun shooting. So this isn't like any of the past shootings, or the majority of the past shootings. I don't know much.

This is so sad!  How in the world did he get into a Hotel with all of those guns?  If he was a man of color I am sure they would have stopped him.

Just shameful. As someone who loves Vegas and has been to the Mandalay Bay resort, this one hits very close to home. Prayers to all the victims, and in this tragedy, hopefully someone will do something to lessen the likelihood of this ever happening again.

I was just there a few weeks ago and while I didn't stay at Mandalay bay, I did spend a good bit of time there.  I have a friend that lives out there that is at that casino all the time.  Craziness.
