Oktoberfest [that's how it's spelled]

it started in Germany.
we used to celebrate it at the church we went to when I was growing up.
I am going to a party tomorrow afternoon.
we are having big fat pretzels and beer.

I've never attended Oktoberfest.  I wouldn't even know what to expect because I couldn't consume pretzels or beer.  They're both a source of gluten and I'm allergic to wheat.

Lived in Albuquerque n.m. for a long time and it was always going on at the same time as the hot air balloon  fest. So  got to enjoy  both. Made for a fun weekend or anyway the part I had off.
