How long does it take you to get familiar with a new device
« on: October 15, 2017, 12:08:02 pm »
I just got an i phone and like everything else it is taking me some time to learn the way it works. I have always used Android after the old flip phones and basic phones.

My husband got an iPhone, he had it for 2 years and never got used to it lol.  Soon as the contract ran out he went back to an Android.

It does not take me very long to figure out the things I like to do most. For the most part I think if you have any issues with learning anything about it you can get on line help for most anything.

I learn the things I need to know right away.  Then as the months go by, I learn some new things I didn't know I could do.

It didn’t take me long to become familiar with using new gadgets such as a smartphone. I can use an android, a windows phone, a basic flip phone, and even an iPhone. I can adapt to any phone because I like to figure things out. :glasses-nerdy:

I'm pretty fast getting used to other device's, most cell phone's seem similar to other types of cell phone's, with a bit of different apps!

It usually doesn't take me more than a couple of days to get use to a new device, especially if I change brands.  I can usually adapt very well to a new device.

I have an iphone & other than the bare basics, I rarely used any of the other features... it is sort of a waste for me to have it -- I never have gotten to familiar with the device.  Nonetheless, I plan on getting the new iphone X , I really don't want to use the facial recognition everytime I access the phone & I really don't need all the emoji features; but I do like the photos the phone takes... the camera is excellent.

Depends on how long I've been using the previous device and how different it is I suppose.  Not much issue when upgrading from iPhones...but when I tried to help my mom with her Samsung it's so confusing.
