Friday the 13th

We had another Friday the 13 this year. Did you have any luck, good or bad?

To be honest, I've never paid attention to any of the Friday the 13ths that I've lived through in my 55 years. So I guess I've never had any real ups on those days and no real downs. I do know people, though, who swear that it is a particularly unlucky day for them when it rolls around!

Friday the 13th is for people who believe that something will happen, good or bad, a person shouldn't determine how or what is about to happen, things just happen, either it's for you or it isn't. It's just another day, its all superstition.

11-13-15 was a Friday the 13th also and I have my precious baby girl so that was a good Friday the 13th too

Hmmmnnn have to think about this one.  Had an outpatient surgery.  I didn't realize it was was Friday the 13th but I am not overly superstitious at any rate although I don't think I would have chosen that as a day to have outpatient surgery but had it none the less.

Luck is when preparation meets opportunity.  I don't believe in luck.  When I was younger I had a surgery on Friday the 13th.  It didn't even dawn on me until someone said something about it a couple days before the surgery.  I just laughed.

Sadly many let it govern their life.If we cant trust Jesus words on knowing truth and it setting us free from such nonsense......who can we trust then?

I was walking to work last Friday morning (on the 13th).  One the way, I encountered a stray black cat in the next neighborhood over who was scratching in the grass.  When he saw me, he got spooked and ran off (but our paths did not officially cross since he went off the other direction).  I know as a cat owner that scratching in the grass often means that the cat recently left a deposit nearby.  I was lucky enough to not step in it!   So all in all, I'd have to say that this particular Friday the 13th was not unlucky for me at all!
